Biography

In her career Shelley has managed projects with a wide range of complexity and size. She has a proven track record of producing high-quality results and is a true expert at maintaining a client-focused perspective. Shelley has extensive experience in the following areas:

  • Writing/editing - including newsletter feature writing; copywriting for marketing components; position paper research and writing; case statement development; technical writing; policy development
  • Project management – including copy/design/print projects; catalog program development; and direct mail campaigns
  • Event planning - experience with events of all sizes and complexity including small committee/board meetings; intimate cocktail parties; fundraising runs and bowl-a-thons; and large gala dinners/auctions
  • Comprehensive communication strategy planning and implementation<
  • Proposal research/writing/management/reporting

Prior Experience

Since 1991 Shelley has held leadership positions and managed teams of marketing, communication and nonprofit professionals for several corporations and nonprofit organizations including Mercy, Barnes-Jewish Hospital, Carondelet Health, Junior Achievement and GEAR for Sports.
